Initial Bridgend shoot.
One of the projects I am working on at the moment is called a 'Spot' project in which we were each given a word at random. My word was 'Youth' so I decided to base my project around Bridgend where there is an unusually high rate of teenaged suicides. I decided to shoot mostly landscapes and street photography, the aim of the project is to observe the area and convey the atmosphere that surrounds it, and to look into why Bridgend may have such high suicide rates. All the photographs are taken on a Rolliflex camera, medium format film.
